Guarantee on Prints

The materials and workmanship of all framed prints and photographic images are guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not extend to damage caused after purchase and is subject to normal display and storage conditions.

 

Copyright

All rights are reserved to material in this web site.

Unauthorised use of any image, text or other material in this web site and galleries is strictly forbidden. Please enquire to roselyn@cloake.co.nz to request permission and conditions.

Images from this site may be used for positional, mockup and draft layout purposes.

Modification of images may be authorised for special circumstances and copyright would then be shared. Any other reproduction, whether in whole or part, constitutes an actionable breach of the abovementioned Act and is strictly prohibited

Pursuant to the New Zealand Copyright Act 1994, copyright for prints and originating images is automatically owned by the author. Registration is not required.

In New Zealand, under the Copyright Act 1994, copyright comes into existence automatically when any original literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, sound recording, film, broadcast, cable programme and published edition, is put into material form e.g. manuscript, audio/video recording. No registration is necessary (or even possible), nor is any other formality required for securing copyright protection.

Copyright in artistic works continues for 50 years after the end of the calendar year in which the author died. A publisher's copyright in the typography of a published edition lasts for 25 years from the end of the calendar year in which the work was first published.
